Jennie Pacot
Treatment Assistant
My name is Jennie and I am a recovering addict. Thanks to sobriety, I got the chance to work here at Rocky Mountain Treatment Center, which I absolutely love.
I grew up on the West coast with my mother (in NW Washington), and my father (in San Diego, CA). My mother was an alcoholic, and to cope with being the child of an alcoholic, I started binge eating at a very young age. My eating disorder got worse through my teen years, and when I graduated high school, I found a new love that replaced food, meth, and opioids. My life was in constant chaos and no matter where I moved to start a new life, my addiction followed.
My last day of use was on March 3, 2017. Since then, I have turned my life around and have surrendered to my Higher Power. Thanks to AA, counseling, and a healthy support system, I remain drug-free.
