I was born and raised in Great Falls, MT. I went to college in Helena, MT in 2001 at the Helena College of Technology and got my Associates of Applied Science degree. I grew up with alcoholic parents until the sobered up when I was 12. At 11 years old, I started playing around with alcohol. By the time I was 22, I realized I was an addict. For 20+ years I battled my demons and addictions. I tried my first attempt at 31 to get sober. I guess I wasn’t ready yet. In 2014 I came to Rocky Mountain Treatment Center as a client, and today have the privilege of working here.
I have 2 daughters that I love spending time with. And I guess the reason I never left Montana is that I just love being in the outdoors and spending time with my family.
