Ben Horn, BA LAC
I joined the Rocky team on September 26th 2019. I am originally from the Blackfeet reservation in Browning, Montana. I spent the last seven years in Helena, Montana where I worked primarily as an outpatient counselor. I am Licensed through the state of Montana, bringing a background and experience that extends 25 plus years. I, myself, am a recovering alcoholic, raised in a home and community that was both enduring and challenging. Growing up in such an environment made it all that much easier to choose the helping professions. I’ve worked in various communities from Browning, Missoula, Helena, and now Great Falls. I find that returning to residential inpatient treatment as another rewarding challenge that I’m willing to meet head on. Some of my interests that are important to me are; health and fitness, being a vegetarian, running, the Vatican, Batman, writing, artwork, New York Yankees, the Beatles, fish tacos, seafood enchiladas, Sarah Silverman, and social justice. Not necessarily in that order. In closing, I am taking in Great Falls and all that it has to offer. My motto is; “I have a disease (Alcoholism) that tells me I do not have a disease”.
